Pika is a short video generator that takes a prompt and turns it into a clip. Its current pricing page lists the free plan at zero credits per month with credit packs on the side, and it now prints monthly and annual prices in one table, which settles the entry price this profile previously left empty.
The free plan is zero credits, and buying a pack is not a free trial
The pricing page lists Free at $0 with zero credits per month and notes that it sells credit packs instead. "Packs only" is that page telling you the free tier does not refill anything monthly; a top-up is a one off purchase, available on any plan including Free, and it does not start a subscription. Buying a pack is paying, so there is no unpaid evaluation to plan around on this product, as there was when the free tier read 80 monthly video credits, 480p only. The current page also no longer prints the old 480p cap, so this profile cannot state a free tier resolution any more than the page does.
The entry price is now on the page, and it is $10
Starter prints $10 per month on monthly billing, with the annual rate of $8/mo billed annually shown on the same row. Both figures sit in one table, each labeled, so the monthly figure is the number on this profile. The pricing page presents Monthly and Yearly billing, and the weekly option an earlier reading recorded is no longer listed.
What 900 credits per month buy in context
The Starter plan prints 900 credits per month, and the same page publishes credit costs per generation for specified modes. The Seedance 2.5 video row reads 720p for 5 seconds at 122 credits, so the page's own estimate column shows 7 clips per month for a Starter account. That arithmetic is the vendor's: this profile repeats the row, it does not convert between its own units. Top-up credits are sold at 60 credits per $1 on every plan. Plan credits refresh each billing period and do not roll over, and top-up credits carry over and expire 365 days after purchase. Top-up credits work only for Pika Create on pika.art, not with the API, MCP, iOS app, or old.pika.art, so web and API usage draw from separate balances.
Which of Pika's pages this profile read
Pika's help center still describes an older plan structure: "150 credits per month, Basic free plan", weekly billing and top-ups that never expire. The current pricing table supplies the purchase figures above. Pika's current support page corroborates the current credit behavior, and its current terms corroborate the billing-cycle and credit-expiration rules. Among the official Pika documents checked here, the help center is the outlier. This profile uses the pricing table for purchase figures and the support page for how credits behave, and both are dated on the ledger.
AI video is the hub for this category. The pricing changes dated on the ledger above are what this page records, and the no-entry-price rule that used to keep this profile's top field empty is written down on the methodology page. The Pika review reads the same figures against the terms and the privacy policy, where the commercial boundary and the training clause decide the purchase, and Runway vs Pika sets the two credit systems side by side.
